What is STUDIO?

An overview of STUDIO for label and artist teams: what a STUDIO site carries, how it works alongside streaming, how it differs from the EVEN marketplace, who it is for, and how quickly a campaign can launch.

STUDIO is EVEN’s enterprise product for labels and artist teams. It turns a release into a fully branded destination on the artist’s own domain. Fans buy directly from the artist, and every sale comes back to your team as data you own.

What lives on a STUDIO site

A STUDIO site carries whichever parts of a rollout your campaign needs. Your EVEN team assembles it from sections: digital music with pre-orders and exclusive early tracks, community chat, feed, content, livestreams and touring with presales and hotel booking. Each campaign turns on the ones that fit, so no two STUDIO sites look or behave quite the same. Live examples include thefalloff.com for J. Cole, alittlevengeance.com for Jessie Reyez and tysociety.live for Ty Myers.

How it sits alongside streaming

STUDIO runs alongside streaming rather than against it. The exclusivity sits on the artist’s own destination, so fans who buy there get early access to selected tracks, and the album still goes wide on streaming on release day. No one cancels Netflix when they go to the movies. Your STUDIO site serves the fans who want to go deeper, and your team keeps using the channels that already give the artist reach.

How it differs from the EVEN marketplace

The marketplace at even.biz is self-serve and open to every artist, and artists build and publish their own releases there. STUDIO is the enterprise product. It gives you the artist’s own domain, sections configured to your rollout, a dedicated EVEN team, and chart registration and data work at campaign level. You supply the creative and the inventory, and EVEN builds and runs the product behind it.

Who it is for

STUDIO is for artists and the teams who work with them. Labels, management, distributors and D2C partners all use it, and it works for independent artists and major-label artists alike. STUDIO is invite only, so you get access by booking a call with Artist Relations or by asking your label, distributor or partner contact at EVEN.

How fast it moves

A campaign can go live as fast as 72 hours from greenlight, on a subdomain or on the artist’s own domain, and faster once a partner is fully implemented. Chart registration usually takes longer than the build, so most teams set the calendar around the registration date rather than the build date.
