Does EVEN integrate with Shopify?
The two Shopify checkout models, hourly app sync, live stock checks, inventory settings and fulfillment responsibilities.
Yes, STUDIO connects to Shopify through a custom app built by EVEN for your store. Choose EVEN checkout, where paid orders are sent to Shopify for fulfillment, or Shopify checkout, where STUDIO buy buttons open your store’s checkout. Shopify stays the source of truth for your catalog and fulfillment.
How the integration works
EVEN prepares the custom app for each store. Your store owner or an authorized staff member opens Merch → Install in the STUDIO dashboard and approves the Shopify permissions. The EVEN team supports configuration and SKU checks. For Shopify checkout, create a storefront in Shopify’s Headless sales channel, publish the featured products to it, and share its public Storefront API token and product handles with EVEN.
How inventory sync works
The app syncs hourly, and EVEN can trigger a manual push. With EVEN checkout, stock is checked live at checkout and out-of-stock items stop selling. Inventory decrements for EVEN orders are off by default, so agree this setting with EVEN before launch. You control availability product by product, including geo-blocking and per-territory availability.
Multiple stores and territories
A campaign can route across multiple Shopify stores by territory. If you run separate stores for different regions, orders go to the store that covers that market.
Getting orders out
Export for Shopify and other order downloads require PII plus Merch export, with the sidebar PII toggle on at download time. The Merch page shows orders, fulfillment information and sync status. Member identities and addresses stay masked without PII permission. Pushing or retrying Shopify orders, repairing addresses, changing the SKU map and editing Shopify settings require Shopify sync permission. Admins have full access.
If you do not use Shopify
You do not need Shopify. STUDIO campaigns also run with a label merch arm or 3PL, an artist-side supplier, or your own team using EVEN’s order tooling. Your existing fulfillment partner, warehouse and back office can stay in place. If you need EVEN to handle shipping, discuss it with your team. Confirm shipping regions, rates and handling fees before launch.
