Ty Myers Took Country Direct-to-Fan
October 5th, 2026
By: Melody
Most country fans find their favorite artist on the radio or at a show. Ty Myers gave his fans somewhere else to go. For his Willie Nelson tribute album, he launched TySociety.live, his own site built with EVEN STUDIO, in just a few days. The album, merch, tour dates and a community chat all lived in one place. Every time Ty showed up there, his fans showed up too.
By the numbers
When Ty joined the fan chat, daily messages jumped 40x and site visitors increased by 755%
Site traffic doubled and then tripled, as new songs from the album were revealed one by one.
By release day, twice as many fans were coming back to Ty’s Studio, and nearly a third of them came back three or more times.
The Rollout
Ty's love for Willie Nelson goes way beyond the music. The two met when Ty opened for Willie on tour in 2024" So when the preorder for Two Braids & The Truth: My Tribute To Willie opened on TySociety.live, fans wanted to know which Willie classics made the album and who else might be featured.
Then Ty did something most artists don't. He stepped into the Community Chat himself and started talking with fans directly. They showed up right away, and every time he came back, so did they.
For fans in places like New York and Australia, where the tour wasn't stopping, TySociety.live was the closest thing to being in the room with him.
The Story: Countdown to Release Day
August 13: Fans could preorder the album for $7.99, but the tracklist was a mystery. Every song title was hidden, and a countdown ticked toward release day.
Leading up to release: Song titles were revealed one at a time. Ty's team picked the order and timing, and Ty’s Studio ran each reveal automatically on the preorder page.
August 21: Ty joined the Community Chat himself. In the next 48 hours, fans posted 10 times more messages than they had the entire week before, and site visitors jumped 755% that day.
Early September: Fans voted in a song poll to help decide what came next.
September 8: "Whiskey River" was revealed, and traffic doubled.
September 11: "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground" was revealed, and traffic more than tripled.
September 18: Ty dropped back into the chat, and messages climbed more than 700% all over again.

Lessons from the Playbook
Don’t let the preorder go quiet.
When Ty jumped into the chat, fans showed up in a big way, and they did it again every time he came back. Fans want to hear directly from the artist. A few check-ins from Ty turned a quiet chat into a real community.
Hold something back on purpose
Instead of one big announcement, Ty revealed his album one song title at a time and let fans vote along the way. Each reveal brought fans back, with traffic doubling, then tripling.
Reach fans beyond the tour map.
Not every fan lives near a tour stop. Having a direct line gave fans the opportunity to engage in a meaningful way.
Build as you go.
You don't need everything figured out to launch. Ty's site was up in days, and new pieces like song reveals, a poll and chat visits got added along the way.
Build beyond release week
The tribute album was only the start. Ty's tour is still on the road, and more music is on the way.TySociety.live is ready for both. The fans who came for a Willie Nelson tribute are still in the chat, just one message away. When Ty's next album drops, he won't need to find them again. He'll know exactly where they are.
That's what EVEN STUDIO is built for. Artists can launch a site in days, sell music and merch directly, talk with fans in their own community, and give their audience one place to come back to for every release, announcement and tour date.
BEYOND RELEASE WEEK
Watch for
Results publish when the window wraps. The things worth watching are how many pre-orders came in through the reveal schedule, how many buyers played it on release day, and what the hidden tracklist did to repeat visits. Follow along at tysociety.live.
